Yesterday I was asked if I have re-evaluated the art I do – does it truly light me up? Am I willing to run into obstacle after obstacle and keep going because I so passionately believe in what I’m doing?
The one thing holding me back right now is my deeply ingrained beliefs that artists don’t contribute much to society, that it’s not a valuable endeavour, and that I will not be able to make a living this way. As an artist, these beliefs are completely counter-productive and debilitating.
How can I turn the passion that I do have, for colour, for expression, for painting, and for movement, and transform them into a life-affirming career? How can I let go of the beliefs that hold me back?

SelfLove365, Year 2, Day 119: Passion
I long to feel deeply, to paint wildly, to write without worry, to fuck like an animal, to love to my core, to surrender through dance, and to live each day as if it were my first.

SelfLove365, Year 2, Day 9: Fire
Strike the match.
Light a candle.
Inspiration, Creativity, Intention settling in.
Passion, desire, movement, ecstasy bursting through me.
Raging out of control and teaching me a lesson not to get attached to things, or people.
Glowing, glowing, providing a light, so I can see.
Blow it out, feel the chill.
Strike another match.
