“Present”, 6″ x 9″
Last year, I spent a lot of time focusing on my sexuality, both in life and in art; I was able to begin healing so many old shameful stories. One of the biggest lessons for me, as is the case in just about everything I do, is to stay present to what is actually happening for me right now. No need to stop the pleasure, no need to dredge up worry, no need to stay rooted in the past, no need to keep proving that I am unlovable, ugly or undesirable.
How have you begun to heal your sexual shame?
“Present”, watercolour and ink on paper, 6″ x 9″, $120. Purchase here.
