Perfect timing. I’ve been putting off, for about a week now, making a check-off chart of ways to take care of myself, specifically my inner child. She’s been ignored lately. I guess today is the day!
Ways to Self Care
- Meditation daily (I do this- yay, me!).
- Dance daily.
- Curl up with a book.
- Create something. Anything. This is already covered by doing this project.
- Bed by 11:30.
- Feel my feelings. ALLOW. THIS IS THE BIG ONE.
- I love you’s.
- Quiet time.
- Listen to my body – do I really want to eat that? What do I need right now? Ask: Does this serve me?
- Eat mindfully and eat nourishing foods.
- Be gentle and kind.
- Don’t take things personally.
- Naps as required.
- Walk outside.
- Connect with friends and family.
