I’ve only painted once in the last week and a half, because we’ve been on holiday. I was reading instead of painting. Ok, I was being lazy. I brought my mini watercolour set and sketchbook to the beach each day, but I only pulled it out once. No, I mean… I brought my paints to the beach and I painted once! Yay, me! I am going to do more during this week at my mom’s house, because it’s a year since I started painting in my sketchbook. It’s the one year anniversary of getting back into my art, so I am going to spend it..getting back into my art.
I’m featured on the Etsy Alberta Team Blog!
I recently discovered an etsy shop called Beanforest and the Calamity Collective. This shop is freakin’ hilarious! I want so many of these buttons. Here’s a sampling:
I’m starting to sell my cards as singles on etsy. Sales are slow for the packs so far. Ok, slower than slow – only one! It’s not what I expected because the packs sold so much better than the singles to my friends and family. Here’s the first card for sale:
Next time I hear someone about to launch into why I am going to hell because I don’t accept Christ as my saviour, I am going to keep my big trap shut, take a deep breath, and walk away. I’m still hanging on to this – it goes way back to high school when many kids at school tried to convert me – and it’s time to let it go. Now.
Yay! I am excited that my cards are now being sold at the Daily Globe Newshop – 1004 – 17th Ave. S.W. Calgary! They are being sold as singles, rather than packs. I am thinking of adding singles to my etsy shop, too.
Mom told me about a design contest (for their bags) for the One of a Kind show. I will get to work tonight! Thanks, Mom!
One of my magnets is featured in a Treasury!
