Doing more catch up here…
I hope you enjoy my drawings! More to come…
I have fallen behind in posting my SelfLove365 portraits! For tonight, I will finish posting the March portraits. I promise to post April and May soon! I’m really enjoying seeing the collection build.
So here’s the rest of March, beginning with my favourite one of all!
Hello! My name is “Sweet Love” and I am ready to move out and find a new home.
Today only, I am
Just say you want me in the comments, and I am yours!
“Sweet Love”, 24″ x 24″, 2013, $340 (regularly $680) +shipping/handling
This painting began as a collaborate effort with the brave people who stopped by to help me out at the last FosterMAK show.
One of my favourite things about painting live is encouraging people to use a paintbrush, especially the ones who say, “You don’t want me… I will ruin your painting!
But the best thing, by far, is sharing the canvas with children who fully embrace the title of ARTIST. There are many elements of this painting that were done by the children who helped me out that day, just as much of my art is created by the child within me.
“Self Love”, 24″ x 24″, acrylic on cradled wood panel, $720. Purchase here.

“Too Much”, 24″ x 24″, $250 (reg. $680).
Last year, I spent a lot of time focusing on my sexuality, both in life and in art; I was able to begin healing so many old shameful stories. One of the biggest lessons for me, as is the case in just about everything I do, is to stay present to what is actually happening for me right now. No need to stop the pleasure, no need to dredge up worry, no need to stay rooted in the past, no need to keep proving that I am unlovable, ugly or undesirable.
How have you begun to heal your sexual shame?
“Present”, watercolour and ink on paper, 6″ x 9″, $120. Purchase here.
